Fox n Forests hits PC and 2/3 of consoles today! Xbox version suffers last minute delay.

Platforms: All

Retro platformer Fox n Forests has been released on PC, Switch and PS4 today. Unfortunately the Xbox One release has been delayed and is now expected to follow in the next few weeks.

Announcing the delay, the team behind the game released the following statement.

Today, we are very excited to see FOX n FORESTS released. For the last couple of years we have worked hard towards this day and can’t wait to see the reaction of media, influencers and our beloved community. Whilst we did our best to release the game across all formats at the same time, we sadly have to announce that we decided to postpone the Xbox One version. This was an incredibly hard decision to make, but we want to deliver the best experience possible for every player. We are sad, but we are extremely confident that the final version will be available in the weeks to come, and fully meet your expectations. Thanks again for the continued support, and we sincerely hope you enjoy to play FOX n FORESTS as much as we enjoy working on it

Inspired by games such as Super Ghouls n Ghosts, Castlevania, Mega Man and Zelda series to combine nostalgic gameplay with modern game design. Developed completely in 16-bit graphics, Fox n Forests uses an SNES art style and a chiptune soundtrack to recreate the look and feel of one of the most cherished consoles of all time.
