Fortnite Season 9: Here's every new Battle Pass skin you can get your hands onPlatforms: Sony PlayStation 4 | Microsoft Xbox One | PC | Android | iOS | Apple Mac | Nintendo Switch
Fortnite Season 9 has launched and with it comes a whole host of new changes. We've got major changes to the map, a brand new wind-based transportation method, a classic weapon making its triumphant return, and a new unlockables system called Fortbytes. We've got all the details on everything Fortnite Season 9 right here.
Of course, all of that is great, but what new skins will be arriving with the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass? Well, I'm glad you asked, because we've compiled them all right here for your viewing pleasure.
First up, we've got Rox. One of two available upon purchase of the Battle Pass, Rox is almost definitely my favourite Fortnite skin so far. She's an awesome futuristic pilot of some kind, and can definitely hold her own, especially with those twin axes unlockable after collecting 45 Fortbytes. White skirt with the golden-brown jacket is a certified killer look.
Sentinel is definitely one of the bulkier skins Fortnite has so far, and is the second skin available immediately after purchasing the Season 9 Battle Pass. As you have probably noticed, Sentinel is clearly a robot chicken, a reference to the Adult Swim sketch show? It has to be. Either way, Sentinel has an awesome design, especially with those wings.
Unlockable at Battle Pass Tier 23, Bunker Jonesy is a default skin who has been locked in a bunker while the volcano of Season 8 ravaged the Battle Royale map. As you can see, he's a bit bedraggled, but still a force to be reckoned with if he's using those makeshift twin axes. Check out the Season 9 announcement trailer to see Jonesy's transformation story.
The obvious villain of the new skins, Vendetta is a cyberpunk-y skin with an exceptionally non-menacing final progression. Vendetta is your Season 9 Tier 100 reward, with 12 unlockables including various colour schemes and his dope cape and pick-axe. I'm slightly disappointed by this Tier 100 reward, but that just speaks for the quality of the skins up to this point.
Demi unlocks at Battle Pass Tier 87 and has a wonderful design. Her cybernetic arm is giving me Deus Ex and Iron Man vibes, so it's a clear winner in my eyes. I would have loved to have seen Demi as the Tier 100 reward as more variation to choose from with her would be awesome.
Vega is your Battle Pass Tier 47 reward for Fortnite Season 9 and she would be quite a generic skin were it not for her sensational cape/poncho and her trouser design. Oh, and those white and gold trousers are the things ever, no question.
Stratus is very cool, but ultimately we've seen incredibly similar designs in the past, and a great reward for pumping in enough hours to hit Battle Pass Tier 71 this is not. The futuristic forearm screen and his Back Bling are great though.
Remember, Fortnite Season 9 has now kicked off, so check out all the details we've got about the Battle Pass, the map changes, and everything else Fortnite Season 9.
Now, for something really bizarre, has John Wick's house been spotted on the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Royale map? Will we getting a LTM to coincide with John Wick 3?
