Fable 4 rumours say game is

Ahead of the Xbox E3 2019 press conference on Sunday June 9th, a rumour about Fable 4 has been outed by a Reddit poster who claims they saw video of the game, and prolific Twitter leak-machine, Nibel.

The rumours suggest that the next Fable will be "completely open", will not feature guns, players will be able to ignore the main quest therefore never becoming a hero, and town-building will tie heavily into the main quest.

Additionally, the rumour says that the game is being developed in the Unreal Engine, will give the option of playing in first and third person, and will have some sort of multiplayer component. Forza studio, Playground Games have long been rumoured to be developing the title.

In terms of story, this is where the the rumour gets interesting. The Reddit post suggests that Albion and Aurora are gone, they are "lands reduced to fables" after an asteroid destroyed the planet.

"The Spire was rebuilt and used by a mad king to wish that an asteroid would strike the planet. He also wished it would happen again in the far future. Eons later and everything is new (medieval themed, new continents) and you have to stop the destruction of the planet again. Theresa and a Heroes Guild are preserved on another planet via a demon door. Time Travel heavily involved in play. Jack of Blades returns".

The Reddit post in question.

If correct, which this could very well not be, it indicates that this will be a massive reboot and overhaul of the Fable franchise. I don't know about you, but the destruction of the planet sounds like a fresh start to me.
