E3 2020 - Microsoft confirm their attendance at this year's gaming convention

Microsoft's Phil Spencer has confirmed that the Xbox owner will be in attendance at E3 2020 so we expect to be seeing more of the Xbox Series X and hopefully some more Xbox game announcements at the show.

According to Spencer, the Xbox/Microsoft team are currently preparing for the event and in his tweet, above, he says that 2020 is a milestone year for the company.

We're expecting to see more footage from the Xbox One/Xbox Series X edition of Halo: Infinite and hopefully a number of new games from the growing slate of studios under the Microsoft umbrella.

Sony on the other hand will not be attending this year's E3 event despite the looming launch of the PlayStation 5 before the end of the year. The Japanese giant will be focusing on their own events rather than joining the rest of the gaming world in Las Vegas.
