E3 2018: Soul Calibur VI Release Date Announced

During E3 2018, Bandai Namco announced the long-anticipated release date for the next instalment in the Soul Calibur series. In a exciting new story trailer, which you can watch above, Bandai Namco revealed that the game will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One and PC on 19 October 2018 - not long to wait now!

That's not it though, in addition to the trailer and release date, Bandi Namco also revealed that the game will come in three editions, the Standard, Deluxe and Collector's Editions. Details of all three editions are below.

Deluxe Edition


The Deluxe Edition will include a physical copy of the game, the season pass, the game's soundtrack on disc, and a metal case with a built-in soundbox that plays four "epic in-game voice-over snippets". The Deluxe Edition will retail for $99.99.

Collector's Edition


The Soul Calibur VI Collector's Edition will include a physical copy of the game, the game's soundtrack on disc, the same metal case with built-in soundbox, a 120-page artbook, and a 12-inch figurine of Sophita. The Collector's Edition will retail for £149.99.

We can't wait to dive back into the realm of Soul Calibur and take control of our favourite fighters once again! Don't forget, Geralt from The Witcher 3 also makes an appearance as a guest fighter, which means October can't come soon enough.
