DC Universe Online is coming to Nintendo Switch this summerPlatforms: Nintendo Switch
Free-to-play MMO, DC Universe Online, has been announced for the Nintendo Switch, and will release on the handheld this summer.
As reported by CBR, the DC Comics MMO will be getting its first ever outing on a handheld device with its release on Nintendo Switch. Developed by Daybreak Games, DC Universe Online originally launched on PlayStation 3 and PC in 2011, then subsequently brought to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later.
In DC Universe Online players create their own hero or villain, and fight alongside or against over 300 DC characters in nine years of expanding story-lines.
DCUO is free-to-play on the Nintendo Switch, just as it is on other platforms. Daybreak also confirm that previous DCUO accounts cannot be brought over to the Switch version, and the current statement on crossplay is: "DCUO will launch on Switch with a brand-new, fresh server, separate from all other communities. We look forward to exploring crossplay options in the future".
DC Universe Online will be available on Nintendo Switch this summer.
