Animal Crossing: New Horizons revealed with 27 minutes of gameplay - delayed to March 2020Platforms: Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has finally given an extensive reveal, and an official title, to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in their E3 2019 Nintendo Direct.
The Nintendo Direct provided a bunch of brand new details. The game takes place on a deserted island with players seemingly tasked with building up the island to be a bustling and beautiful home for many animals. Of course, Tom Nook is heavily involved.
Check out the reveal trailer from the Direct below.
During Nintendo Treehouse Live immediately following the Nintendo Direct, the company played a live demo of Animal Crossing: New Horizons for 27 glorious minutes. The demo revealed loads of new information, including how crafting works, and how friends will be able to interact in New Horizons. I highly recommend watching the stream below, as it gives a lovely lengthy look at the Nintendo Switch's most anticipated title.
Unfortunately, the big N also delivered the bad news that the game will be delayed to March 20th, 2020 to ensure the game will be the best it can be.
We'll be keeping our ear to the ground so stay tuned for more Animal Crossing: New Horizons on The Digital Fix.
