Square Enix E3 2018 - All Trailers and Announcements

Platforms: All

Square Enix highlighted the new titles coming in 2018 and beyond during their E3 conference 2018. If you missed the live show, don't fret as the highlight videos are below.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

We've got a new trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, unlike Rise of the Tomb Raider it isn't going to be a timed exclusive on the Xbox, but it still looks like it could be another impressive game to add to the series.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is released on 14th September 2018.

Kingdom Hearts 3

Travel to the world of Arundel in Kingdom Hearts 3 which debuted the first footage of its 'Frozen' world last night. The game will feature Anna, Elsa and even Olaf alongside the diverse cast of other characters that includes Tangled's Rapunzel, Wreck it Ralph's Ralph and loads of other well known Disney faces.

Kingdom Hearts arrives on 29th January 2019.

Babylon's Fall

Developed by Platinum Games, Square Enix showcased Babylon's Fall, a brand new game which represents the second partnership between the two companies following Nier. While no specific details about the game were revealed, the game will be released for the PS4 and PC via Steam in 2019.

The Quiet Man

Another new IP announced during the Square Enix conference was called The Quiet Man. The announcement trailer featured both in-game and live action footage, and while very little was revealed about the game, we can expect to hear more in August, possibly at Gamescom.

Dragon Quest XI

During their E3 2018 conference, Square Enix showed off a little more of their upcoming title Dragon Quest XI. While the graphics looked great, very little new information was shared, although the release date has been set for 4th September 2019 on PS4 and PC

Nier: Automata

Xbox One owners will be able to pick up a game that our Playstation chums have had access to for a while - Nier: Automata is coming in a 'Become as Gods' edition which will bundle in every piece of DLC so far.

Nier: Automata releases on 26th June 2018.

Just Cause 4

Yep, we knew this was coming through the leak last week, but here's the first footage from the game. Really hoping this is as good a sandbox destruction game as Just Cause 2 - the third game in the series really didn't scratch that itch very well at all.

Just Cause 4 is out on 4th December 2018.

Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy XIV collaboration

During their E3 2018 conference, Square Enix revealed an exciting event collaboration between Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV.

Captain Spirit

From Square Enix and Dontnod, we have Captain Spirit - and there are two pieces of good news for this one - it's out on 26th June this year and also, it's FREE!

It looks pretty good too.
