No Man's Sky - REAL multiplayer is coming on 24th July
One of the most disappointing aspects of the always online No Man's Sky was the fact that you couldn't play with your friends. You could both be online and in the same place in the persistent universe but you wouldn't be able to see them.
This is about to change with the announcement via Twitter from Hello Games founder Sean Murray that the game will get a free update on 24th July that will introduce multiplayer for the first time.

This update will be free to current owners of the game with PS4 and PC users when the update is released on 24th July, while Xbox One players will find multiplayer baked into their version of the game when that releases on the same day.
