It’s Monday again which means that overwhelming sense of déjà vu in the wake of a weekend that went by just far too quickly. Looking at this weeks chart I am granted that same feeling of déjà vu as Zumba Fitness still reigns supreme at the top of the chart. After ten consecutive weeks at the top of the charts you would wonder how much fitter the UK populous can get but the sales of the multi-platform title are showing great levels of health and stamina. This reign at the top of the charts may be coming to an abrupt end with the highly anticipated Deus Ex: Human Revolution soon to make its arrival.
Last week saw the 3DS title Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D make a leap from the brink of the Top 40 into 13th place. The 3DS price cut seems to have been the motivating factor for this and this week’s sales have continued to increase as it moves all the way into fourth place.
As with previous weeks there is very little movement elsewhere in the top ten with movie tie-ins maintaining their places. The only new entry this week has been the Wii title Xenoblade Chronicles surprising, but definitely deserved, entry into 7th place.
So the big question is can Deus EX: Human Revolution make this week the last dance for Zumba Fitness?
