Far Cry Primal Announced
The next game in the Far Cry saga has been announced by Ubisoft Montreal.
Far Cry Primal is set in 10,000 BC, and puts you in the role of "Takkar", a member of an ancient tribe, as you utilize survival skills to thrive in the wilderness. The game will feature a vast, open world setting similar to previous games in the series.
Jean-Christophe Guyot, Creative Director believes this is the perfect setting for a Far Cry game, "The Stone Age is, in a way, the very first frontier for humankind; it’s the time when humans put a stick in the ground and claimed land for their own, the time when we started climbing the food chain. That came with conflict, against other humans of course, but also against nature itself.”
Far Cry Primal is set for release on February 23rd, 2016 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the PC version coming later in March 2016.
