Max Payne 3 to hit early 2012
Rockstar Games have announced that Max Payne 3 will finally see the light of day in March 2012. The game was originally slated for a 2009 release but was pushed back. However the game now appears to be gearing up for a release early next year.
The follow up to the 2001 ground-breaking original and the 2003 sequel will continue the story of Max Payne on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and of course, PC.
The latest game picks up where Max Payne 2 left off but now sees the former NYPD detective moved to Brazil. As well as the bullet-time mechanics (in which the game slows down to a crawl as you leap through the air) from the original two games a new seamless cinematic action experience is also promised for the game.
Surprisingly Rockstar have also confirmed that a multiplayer mode will also be present in Max Payne 3. As well as traditional approach to multiplayer full character progression is also promised.
