Super Smash Bros. Ultimate getting 22 minute in-depth look at Hero DLC tomorrow - release date leakedPlatforms: Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has announced that Smash Bros. series director, Masahiro Sakurai, will host an in-depth look at the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Fighter, Dragon Quest's Hero. The video presentation will take place tomorrow, July 30th, and will reveal the release date of the new fighter.
Yes, Nintendo are planning to reveal the eagerly anticipated release date of the Hero DLC in their presentation tomorrow, but it seems like European Nintendo Twitter accounts have potentially just outed the release date as July 31st in now-deleted tweets.
Obviously, this could have been a genuine error, but equally, don't be surprised if you are fighting as Hero on the 31st.
Alongside the new fighter comes Version 4.0.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While no details have been given regarding what the update entails, expect a new mode or two to keep the Smash Bros. hype alive.
The 22 minute presentation will begin at 2pm UK time, and will be available to watch on Nintendo's YouTube channels.
Only owners of the Fighter Pass will be eligible to play as Dragon Quest's Hero; the fighter joins other DLC fighters Piranha Plant, Persona's Joker, and Banjo-Kazooie.
