Marvel's Avengers gameplay to be shown at San Diego Comic-Con, but only to those in attendancePlatforms: Sony PlayStation 4 | Google Stadia | Microsoft Xbox One | PC
Marvel Games and Square Enix are set to have a big presence at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, with the first public gameplay reveal of Marvel's Avengers set to be shown to fans in attendance at the Hall H panel on July 18th.
In a press release, Square Enix confirmed that the public gameplay reveal, which will include "new information", would be shown to "Hall H attendees only", implying that the footage will not be live-streamed to those watching at home. Although, that's not to say the gameplay won't be published on YouTube after the Hall H panel, but nothing is confirmed as of now.
Gameplay was shown off to press in a behind-closed doors demo at E3 2019, with many leaving feeling underwhelmed by the showing. Hopefully, for the developers and for those excited about the prospect of assembling as the Avengers, the Comic-Con gameplay impresses more than the E3 demo did.
Marvel Games will also be bringing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order to the show, expect to see some of their DLC plans as the game releases on Nintendo Switch on the 19th of July, during Comic-Con. Additionally, Iron Man VR will also be shown off for the second time, with show-goers able to get hands on with the PlayStation VR exclusive.
Marvel's Avengers is launching on May 15th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
