Dead Island novel to be releasedPlatforms: All
Bantam have today announced the official novelisation of the new Deep Silver multi-format game, Dead Island.
The new book is being penned by British Fantasy award winning novelist, Mark Morris and will be in stores September 8th 2011, neatly coinciding with the games release, oddly enough. The book will retail for a reasonable £6.99 from all good retailers.
The novel will tie in directly with the game, detailing the struggle of the visitors to the five star Royal Palms resort against a mysterious savage zombie outbreak.
Mark Morris had this to say....
“Having marvelled, like the rest of the world, at the stunning trailer earlier this year, I absolutely leaped at the opportunity to write the official Dead Island tie-in novel. This is a rich, exotic world of well-conceived characters, stunning locations and all-out zombie mayhem. What really attracted me to the project, however, was the fact that behind the nonstop action is a complex and multi-layered plot. I’m hugely excited and massively honoured to be a part of the Dead Island phenomenon.”
