Frontier Developments have announced that a new ship, The Mamba, will be joining the line-up when the fourth chapter of the game's second 'Beyond' season debuts soon. It'll be joined by the Krait Phantom which also makes its debut with this release.
The ships come alongside big updates to the game's mining system that is effectively a complete overhaul adding more scope for mining resources from asteroids and finding the materials you need.
Elite Dangerous: Beyond Chapter Four is currently in open beta on PC, XBox One and Playstation 4 and is set for release very soon. You can get a closer look at the new ships in a Twitch stream scheduled for 7pm this evening.
Based on an unreleased racing prototype, the Mamba brings blistering speed combined with huge firepower to Elite Dangerous as part of the Beyond – Chapter Four update.
