Can you bear to see the official Paddington 2 trailer?

Studiocanal released the official trailer for Paddington 2 this morning which you can now watch above.

The first Paddington film proved to be an unexpected success, managing to avoid effecting its legacy and perhaps even throwing in hidden social commentary on immigration.

This time Hugh Grant plays Phoenix Buchanan, a vain, charming, charismatic actor whose star has fallen in recent years. Something of a local celebrity in Windsor Gardens, he is admired by the whole community but harbours a dark secret.

Brendan Gleeson appears as "Knuckles" McGinty, a notorious safecracker and legendary strong man. Initially resistant to Paddington’s charms, he eventually becomes an unexpected new ally in the young bear’s quest to catch a thief.

The cast is led by Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin, with Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington, Imelda Staunton as the voice of Aunt Lucy and Michael Gambon as the voice of Uncle Pastuzo. Paul King returns to direct.

Dame Eileen Atkins, Richard Ayoade, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Tom Conti, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Jessica Hynes, Claire Keelan, Joanna Lumley, Ben Miller, Aaron Neil, Meera Syal and Noah Taylor also feature.

Paddington 2 will be released in UK cinemas on November 10th.
