Watch the first trailer for Brazilian teen drama Rust

Currently premièring at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival this month in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition category is Rust, and you can check out the first trailer for the film above.

The film looks at a case of sexual abuse at a high school which later becomes even worse when a private video of the incident is somehow leaked to all the students. Two teens, Tati and Renet, are at the centre of the storm and the film looks at the moral, social and personal problems that occur at school and home for the pair.

This is Aly Muritiba's second feature film and the cast features Giovanni de Lorenzi, Tifanny Dopke, Enrique Diaz, and Clarissa Kiste.

Rust will no doubt be on the festival circuit for a while and will hopefully be picked up quickly, so we don't expect any news on release dates for quite a while.
