Watch the first 7 minutes of Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to celebrate its digital release

The year in film has flashed past incredibly quickly once again, but one of the most memorable releases of the year was the ninth release from Quentin Tarantino, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. With the film available on digital platforms in the US, Sony have released the first 7 minutes as a teaser for you to enjoy.

Once Upon a Time in America is available on digital platforms in the US right now, with other formats to follow on December 10. Fans in the UK will have to wait a little longer for the digital release which has a December 7 date, with DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases scheduled for December 9.

We reviewed the film during Cannes, saying "it subverts the very idea of what we expect from a late period Quentin Tarantino film". Of course, not everyone is a big fan of OUATIH or Tarantino, but we should expect it to appear on quite a few top 10 lists over the next month.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie head up a cast featuring the likes of Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, Damian Lewis, Nicholas Hammond, Scoot McNairy, Lena Dunham, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Timothy Olyphant, Kurt Russell, Margaret Qualley and Luke Perry.

Keep an eye open over the next couple of weeks as we'll have a review for the QT8: The First Eight documentary, reflecting on the first eight films made by Tarantino since Reservoir Dogs.
