Wanderlust (US) in June

Universal have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray release of Wanderlust on 19 June 2012. Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston star in this comedy directed by David Wain (Role Models) and produced by Judd Apatow. After George (Rudd) loses his high-stress Manhattan job, he and his wife, Linda (Aniston), hit the road and wind up crashing at Elysium, a free-spirited community of hippies, tree-huggers and the occasional nudist.

Extras are outlined below...

DVD Bonus Features:

  • Deleted Scenes
  • Extended & Alternative Scenes

Blu-ray & DVD Bonus Features:
  • Gag Reel
  • Line-O-Rama
  • God Afton!: Behind-the-scenes featurette
  • Penis Envy: A mockumntary on Joe Lo Truglio’s experience wearing a prosthetic penis for his Wanderlust role.
  • The Elysium Campaign: Jordan Peele gives an impression of President Barack Obama if he had a small role in Wanderlust.
  • Wainy Days - Elysium: See the cast in an exclusive episode of director David Wain’s popular web series “Wainy Days.”
  • Audio commentary featuring director/writer/producer David Wain, writer/producer Ken Marino, actor/producer Paul Rudd, and impressions by Kevin Pollack

Blu-ray Bonus Features:
  • Wanderlust - The Bizarro Cut: 80 minutes of the film with alternate jokes in nearly every scene.
  • Ultraviolet | Digital Copy | BD Live | pocket BLU app | uHear

So, as we understand it, the DVD gets the deleted/extended/alternate scenes separate whereas the Blu-ray gets a 'Bizarro' cut of the film with them inserted in.

Audio options are English 5.1 (DTS-HD MA on Blu-ray) and Spanish 5.1 (DTS on Blu-ray). DVD audio options are Dolby Digital.

Subtitle options are English SDH, French and Spanish on both DVD and Blu-ray.

The UK release, also from Universal, is due a week later on 25 June 2012. Features are TBC but with the majority of the extras already passed through the BBFC content is likely to be very similar if not identical.
