Vivarium trailer: Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots are trapped in a suburban hell

Director Lorcan Finnegan's debut feature, Vivarium, has been on the festival trail since making its debut at Cannes back in May. We reviewed the film at LFF, although found it to be a pretty big disappointment, saying: "Mostly it feels like a Black Mirror off-cut that never made it past the first draft and has now be unwisely resurrected." Our opinion aside, it has been given very positive reviews by the majority of critics so far and is now getting itself ready for an early 2020 release. Hit play above to watch the first trailer for Vivarium.

In search of a starter home, a young couple follow a mysterious estate agent and get trapped in a strange housing development.

Finnegan also co-wrote the script, with the small cast starring Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Poots and Jonathan Aris.

Vivarium opens in UK cinemas on March 27, with no US date available at the moment.
