Three more Fox discs in August

Twentieth Century Fox have announced three more discs due for release in August.

War of the Roses stars Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas as a married couple, who after eighteen years of marriage are to get divorced. The ensuing events ensure that the divorce isn't the most amicable with spite and revenge being the order of the day. The DVD is due on 20 August retailing at £15.99. We can expect a 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 2.0 sound and the theatrical trailer.

Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas star in Wall Street which is also due on 20 August retailing at £19.99. This appears to be something of a special edition with a 45 minute documentary featuring Oliver Stone, Michael Douglas, Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen, an Oliver Stone commentary and theatrical trailers. We can also expect a 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.

Finally, on 27 August we can expect to see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - another disc that proves Fox knows what it's doing as far as special edition releases go. Ths one features an audio commentary by director George Roy Hill, lyricist Hal David, associate producer Robert Crawford and cinematographer Conrad Hall, we also have seven interview clibs, a 40-minute documentary, three theatrical trailers, an alternative credit roll and production notes. This one will retail at £19.99.
