This Week's UK Cinema Releases

Week Commencing July 16th 2018

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! is one of two big releases this week, Meryl Streep (and Cher) hoping to repeat the success of the first film. Hotel Artemis is also going wide across the UK, bringing together quite an impressive cast for this action thriller. A Prayer Before Dawn is based on a true story and Dave Bautista is in his second film of the week in Escape Plan 2. Generation Wealth attempts to look at the get-rich mentality of the modern world, while Jenny Lu's joint Taiwanese/British production The Receptionist reveals a few home truths. Madame is a daft comedy starring Harvey Keitel and Spitfire is a documentary about the history of the grand old airplane.
