This Week's UK Cinema Releases

Week Commencing March 12th 2018

Joaquin Phoenix moves from killer to healer this week, following on from starring in Lynne Ramsay's film, he appears alongside Rooney Mara in Mary Magdalene. Lara Croft is resurrected after a 15 years with Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider, while Peter Rabbit hops onto the scene. Winner of last year's Palme d'Or, The Square, gets a relatively small UK release, while countryman Ingmar Bergman's The Magic Flute appears as part of the BFI's current program. Justin Chon's highly rated indie, Gook, is on the schedule, with French film My Golden Days being the last one of note.

The Magic Flute

The Queen of the Night enlists a handsome prince named Tamino to rescue her beautiful kidnapped daughter.
