The West Wing Season One comes to R1 DVD

Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The West Wing: The Complete First Season for 18th November 2003 with a retail price of $59.98. Featuring all 22 episodes spread across four discs (DVD-18) the show will be presented in the original Full Screen aspect ratio with English Dolby Surround audio alongside the following bonus features...

  • Commentaries from Aaron Sorkin, The West Wing Creator and Director Thomas Schlamme on five key episodes, including:
    • Pilot
    • What Kind Of Day Has It Been
    • Take This Sabbath Day
    • In Excelsis Deo (featuring additional commentary from Co-Executive Producer/Director Alex Graves)
    • Celestial Navigation (with Co-Executive Producer/Director Chris Misiano joining Sorkin and Schlamme)
  • Cast and crew interviews
  • “The Primaries” and “The West Wing Inauguration” - in-depth making-of documentaries
  • Exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage from The West Wing’s first season, including “Capital Beat” and “Sheet Music”
  • Deleted scenes not incorporated into any of the 22 episodes from The West Wing’s first season
