The Upside trailer: Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart become unlikely friends

You may, or may not, recall a BAFTA nominated French film called The Intouchables back in 2011. Well, in time honoured tradition Hollywood have remade it and renamed it as The Upside, starring the unlikely duo of Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart. Nicole Kidman also stars. The story is about an unlikely friendship developing between two men so maybe it might be a winning formula. Although reviews so far have been pretty mixed to say the least. You can check out the trailer for The Upside above right now.

The film is described as a heartfelt comedy about a recently paroled ex-convict who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a paralyzed billionaire.

Neil Burger directs, with the supporting cast also featuring Golshifteh Farahani, Aja Naomi King, Tate Donovan and Julianna Margulies.

The Upside opens in UK cinemas on January 11th 2019.
