The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (R2/UK BD) in December

Entertainment One have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on 6th December 2010. The third film in the Twilight saga based on Stephenie Meyer’s book series, Eclipse finds Bella once again surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is available on 1-Disc DVD (£19.99 RRP), 2-Disc DVD (£22.99 RRP) and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack (£24.99 RRP). The press release notes you can expect over three hours of extras (on the 2-Disc DVD & Blu-ray editions) including two commentaries, the first from Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and the second from Stephenie Meyer and producer Wyck Godfrey. The extras also include deleted and extended scenes with audio commentary from the director David Slade, a six part making of documentary, a photo gallery, Edward Fast Forward, Jacob Fast Forward and music videos from Muse and Metric.

Also released is The Twilight Saga: Triple Disc Edition – The Story So Far, a limited edition collection of all three films in the series. Available on DVD (£34.99 RRP) and Blu-ray (£44.99 RRP), it will come in a special steelbook case.
