The Polar Express (R1) in November - Updated!

Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Polar Express for 22nd November 2005 priced at $29.95 SRP. When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe. Robert Zemeckis directs this CG animated film that Tom Hanks provides most of the voices for.

There will be multiple editions available to consumers, starting with basic single-disc barebones Widescreen and Full Screen editions priced at $28.98 SRP. Then you have the Two-Disc Special Edition (Widescreen) release, available in standard amaray packaging or in “collectible rainbow foil o-sleeve packaging” priced at $29.95 SRP. And finally there is the “Holiday Gift Set” which bundles the Two-Disc Special Edition DVD with a Limited Edition Polar Express Snow Globe, and a Brio Wooden Train.
