The Night Clerk trailer: Ana de Armas books into a hotel and Tye Sheridan is acting pretty creepy

It looks like 2020 could be the year of de Armas. She was showered with praise by critics for her role in Knives Out and went on to collect a Golden Globe nomination. The Night Clerk is one of five films that have either wrapped or are in the process of being filmed, meaning she is going to be one to watch over the next 12-24 months. Tye Sheridan has been plugging away building a pretty diverse acting CV and this crime drama puts him centre stage as an unwitting witness to a murder - before becoming the number one suspect. Watch the trailer for The Night Clerk above.

While on duty, a young, socially challenged hotel clerk witnesses a murder in one of the rooms, but his suspicious actions land him as the lead detective’s number one suspect.

This is writer-director Michael Cristofer's first film in almost 20 years, with the supporting cast featuring Helen Hunt, John Leguizamo and Johnathon Schaech.

The Night Clerk is open in the US February 21, with no UK date announced at the moment.
