The Grudge (US BD) & The Grudge 3 (R1) in May

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the US Blu-ray Disc release of The Grudge on 12th May 2009. Takashi Shimizu’s US remake of his Japanese original Ju-On comes to Blu-ray with both the theatrical and director’s cut versions of the film on the disc.

Coded for all regions (A, B and C), extras are in standard definition. Features include:

Also released on 12th May is the straight-to-disc The Grudge 3 on Region 1 DVD. In this sequel directed by Toby Wilkins, Kayako's curse from The Grudge and The Grudge 2 continues killing the residents of a Chicago apartment building.
