The Doll Master in June - Menus added

Optimum Asia have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of The Doll Master for 20th June 2005 priced at £15.99. An eerie, atmospheric horror that gets under your skin and refuses to leave, The Doll Master is part of the new batch of exciting films to come out of East Asia, the new epicentre of horror, and Miramax have already acquired the rights to re-make this film.

A group of strangers are invited to the remote woodland home of an eccentric yet gifted doll maker to have dolls made in their image. However, the doll maker's house is far from ordinary- the bizarre life-sized dolls that decorate the rooms provide a sinister backdrop for some increasingly dangerous events. As each guest waits for their turn to model, they are left to wander the lonely halls, filled at every turn with dolls of all sizes who keep the newcomers under constant surveillance. As time passes, the dolls seem to take on a life of their own and one by one the strangers are picked off in a series of horrifying murders until the frightening truth is revealed.
