The Dead Don't Die new trailer: Jim Jarmusch’s Cannes-opener gets its last trailer before release

Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die kicked things off at Cannes last month although it's fair to say the critical reaction wasn't too hot. Our own Alistair Ryder was in the thick of things on the French Riviera (well, mostly in dark rooms watching moving images) and you can read his review here. The last trailer for The Dead Don’t Die has just been released ahead of its arrival in UK cinemas in just over two weeks.

In the sleepy small town of Centreville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable, and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behaviours. News reports are scary, and scientists are concerned. But no one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing Centreville: the dead rise from their graves and feast on the living, and the citizens must battle for their survival.

Jarmusch deals with script duties, with the all-cast star featuring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Tom Waits, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane and Iggy Pop.

The Dead Don't Die opens in the UK on July 12.
