The Chronicles of Riddick in November
Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Chronicles of Riddick for 16th November 2004 priced at $29.98. The follow-up to Pitch Black sees Vin Diesel reprise his role as a criminal on the intergalactic most wanted list who for this adventure finds himself caught up in the struggle against an oppressive ruling force.
The theatrical cut (120mins) will be available in separate anamorphic widescreen and full screen editions, while the Unrated Director's Cut (127mins) will also be released with an anamorphic widescreen transfer.
The theatrical cut editions will feature English, French and Spanish audio (DD5.1 Surround) and subtitle options. The Unrated Director's Cut will feature English DD5.1 Surround only, with optional English, French and Spanish subtitles.
