Tartan terrors

UK indie label (with a reputation that leaves quite a lot to be desired), Tartan, have announced a number of titles for release on 24 September.

First up is the stunning, if exceedingly toe-curling, Audition. According to the press release we can expect an interview with director Miike Takashi, the Japanese and English theatrical trailers and an anamorphic transfer. The current Region 3 release of the film features a non-anamorphic transfer (although it is pretty good).

Next up we have a trio of Ingmar Bergman films - The Seventh Seal (Det Sjunde Inseglet), The Magician (Ansiktet) and Smiles of a Summer's Night (Sommarnattens Leende). All will be presented in their original 1.33:1 aspect ratios and will be feature free.
