Star Wars: Don't Expect To See Rey Again After Episode IX

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Daisy Ridley made it pretty clear that she doesn't intend to return to the Star Wars universe once filming of Star Wars: Episode IX is complete... At least for now.

"I am really, really excited to do the third thing and round it out, because ultimately, what I was signing on to was three films," Ridley said. "So in my head, it's three films. I think it will feel like the right time to round it out."

Sounds pretty final. However, as we know, even death isn't enough to keep your face off the screen and the actress herself hasn't ruled out returning for another appearance in the long term.

We've still got two more whole films before Daisy hangs up her poncho for good - starting with Star Wars: The Last Jedi on 14th December and then the J. J. Abrams directed untitled trilogy finale, Episode IX.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to arrive in UK cinemas on December 14th. It's directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Benicio Del Toro, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie.
