South Park: The Passion of the Jew in August

Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of South Park: The Passion Of The Jew for 31st August 2004 with a retail price of $19.99. Timed perfectly to coincide with the DVD release of Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ this smart cash-in features an episode from the latest season of South Park where Cartman uses The Passion to prove to Kyle he has always been right about the Jews role in history.

This hilarious episode see Cartman incite a rally where Christians who have rediscovered their faith through The Passion inadvertently walk the streets chanting Nazi slurs as Cartman marches them proudly through South Park in his finest Adolf costume. Meanwhile, Stan and Kenny feel ripped off by the snuff movie Gibson has made and seek him out for a refund, but what they find is a man who isn't quite all there...

The disc will also feature two bonus episodes:

Red Hot Catholic Love from Season 6 - When the Catholic Church scandal negatively impacts church attendance in South Park, Priest Maxi travels to Rome to confront religious leaders about a solution.

Christian Rock Hard from Season 7 - When the other boys kick Cartman out of their band, Cartman pulls his own group together to make music for Jesus. Meanwhile, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny are arrested for downloading music from the internet.
