Let's take a minute to appreciate the Rise of Skywalker's new Sith Troopers

It seems the Sith are clearly back in the final installment in the Skywalker Saga - and with them comes the next generation of troop - the Sith Trooper. Now we've had our first chance to get a good look at them via some new collectable and toy announcements - and it's safe to say that JJ Abram's film is set to bring us yet another iconic look.

The red, which matches the Emperor's Royal Guards of the original trilogy, looks both foreboding and striking in the image below. This is one of the Black Series collectable toys that will be released alongside the Rise of Skywalker.

We're yet to see how these new Sith Troopers fit into the film, but given that Snoke was never a Sith and neither is Kylo Ren, at least in the story we've seen so far, it seems Emperor Palpatine's reappearance might bring with it a whole new army.
