Secret Cinema announce Dirty Dancing as their 2020 summer event

Secret Cinema is currently submerged in The Upside Down world of Stranger Things but it hasn't stopped them from looking ahead to next summer. The immersive event company has just announced it will be returning back to the summer of 1963 at the Kellerman's holiday resort in Secret Cinema Presents Dirty Dancing.

It will be the second time attendees have been transported back to the classic 1987 film, after Secret Cinema held a hugely successful event back in the summer of 2016. It will take place in official partnership with the film's studio, Lionsgate, re-imagining the iconic world of Patrick Swayze and Jennifer 'Baby' Grey.

Initially running for two weeks from Wednesday 22nd July 2020, the as yet to be announced venue will see thousands of people come to enjoy live music, dance classes and a host of other activities. The dates will no doubt expand over the coming months, giving fans plenty of chances to return to the event multiple times.

Lucy Ridley, Creative Director of Secret Cinema Presents Dirty Dancing said:"Our outdoor experiences are a celebration of the summer, and this iconic movie epitomises and honours that perfectly. We're delighted to return to this film and can't wait to share the summer of '63 with you."

Tickets for the event are on sale from 9am GMT on Monday 16th December, with prices starting at £49 + booking fees and available to buy from the Secret Cinema website.
