Second Sight announcements

Second Sight have announced a number of discs for release on 17 September. There's quite an interesting selection on offer including the long awaited Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me...

First up we have two Jim Jarmusch films. Down By Law sees three misfits locked up together in a New Orleans jail. We can expect a 16:9 anamorphic widescreen transfer and the disc will retail for £15.99.

Night on Earth follows a night in the lives of five cab drivers around the world - in LA, Helsinki, New York, Paris and Rome. The film stars Winona Ryder, Beatrice Dalle and Roberto Benigni. Once again we can expect a 16:9 anamorphic transfer and a retail price of £15.99.

David Lynch's feature film prequel to the cult TV series, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Answering many of the questions initially thrown up by the series and reuniting the cast we finally get to see the truth behind Laura's last days. Another 16:9 anamorphic transfer is on the cards with a retail price of £15.99.

Finally, we have Baraka - a visually stunning film shot over 13 months in 24 countries and directed by the cinematographer of Koyaanisqatsi. The DVD features a brand new transfer presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. The disc sill also include a making-of featurette, interviews with the crew, behind-the-scenes footage and the original trailer. All this can be yours for £19.99.
