Roadshow announce Practical Magic

Roadshow Entertainment have announced the Region 4 release of Practical Magic, something that I am unfortunately unable to get very excited about. Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as two sisters from a family of witches, the film tells of how 'falling in love is the trickiest spell of all'. In my opinion, the film is as cheesy as it sounds, but I'm sure there are fans out there somewhere... The DVD itself doesn't look too bad, featuring a commentary track by Sandra Bullock, the director Griffin Dunne, the producer, and the composer. There are also a pair of behind-the-scenes featurettes. The film will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, presumably in DD5.1 sound although no mention of this is made in the press release (omitting soundtrack details seems to be common practice in R4). The disc is released on 11 December.
