R1 Chicago now with DTS and Audio Commentary
Now this is more like it! Buena Vista Home Entertainment have updated their press release for the Region 1 DVD release of Chicago to include the kind of features that are now expected on any major feature. Arriving on 19th August 2003 are separate Anamorphic Widescreen and Full Screen editions of the film, each priced at $29.99 and containing the following features...

- French language track
- Behind-the-scenes special about the film
- Director & screenwriter feature audio commentary
- Deleted Musical Scene

In CHICAGO, it’s 1929. The city’s hot with murder… passion… fame… sex… And All That Jazz.
The Windy City’s promise of adventure and opportunity dazzle Roxie Hart (Renée Zellweger), an outwardly innocent performer who dreams of singing and dancing her way out of her ho-hum life. Roxie’s one wish is to follow in the golden footsteps of sensational vaudeville performer Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Roxie gets her wish when some very wrong steps land both the star and starlet in prison for separate murder charges.
Under the crooked care of the prison’s Matron Morton (Queen Latifah), Roxie meets up with legendary lawyer Billy Flynn (Richard Gere). He agrees to take Roxie’s case for an immodest fee.
