Quality 4K projectors are about to get a lot more affordable with the Optoma UHD40

It's no secret that we're fans of Optoma's projectors, so news of their latest model sporting full 4K for less than £1,600 has certainly piqued out interest. The Optoma UHD40 offers the full 4K experience with HDR and support for HDCP2.2. It also features an in-built stereo speaker, but there's little chance you'll be pairing full 4K resolution with anything less than a top-quality soundbar!

Key features of the Optoma UHD40 are...

  • 4K UHD resolution and HDR compatible
  • Amazing colour - accurate Rec.709 colours
  • Lights on viewing – 2400 lumens and 500,000:1 contrast
  • Digital connectivity – 2x HDMI and HDCP 2.2 support
  • Easy set-up and operation - vertical lens shift
  • Stereo speakers for powerful sound
  • USB power - to stream content via HDMI dongle
  • Whisper quiet operation – 25dB (typical)
