Price fixing raking in £280million/year?

According to a report on Sky News UK consumers are paying up to 40% more for DVD discs than Australia and the US. Going on the figures provided it appears that Sky weren't going on suggested retail prices - they mentioned both Charlies Angels and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon stating that the discs cost £17.99 in the UK compared to prices as low as £10.88 in Australia and £12 in the US.

There's little doubt that we are paying more, but with most Region 2 DVDs coming in at under £15 if you know where to look, it's not quite as bad as some reports are making out.
