Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Places in the Heart for 1st August 2005 priced at £12.99. From director-writer Robert Benton comes this emotionally gripping story starring Sally Field, John Malkovich, Danny Glover, Ed Harris, Lindsay Crouse and Amy Madigan.
