Pixar throws the baby out with the bath water on The Good Dinosaur

Just a few months before its released and it seems Pixar were pretty unhappy with the state of their newest flick - The Good Dinosaur already lost one of its directors but now Pixar have now completely reworked the film and even more shocking, they've given almost all of the core cast their marching orders!

Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, John Lithgow, Lucas Neff and Bill Hader are no longer involved in the film, and, stepping into their virtual animated shoes are Anna Paquin, Steve Zahn, Sam Elliott, Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, AJ Buckley, Marcus Scribner and Jack Bright. Only Frances McDormand remains from the previous line-up.

We've seen cast changes in animated films before - last year's brilliant Paddington saw a last-minute change with Ben Whishaw replacing Colin Firth - but nothing of this extent so late in the day.

Will it make a difference? We'll find out on 27th November...
