New Peter Rabbit 2 trailer: James Corden turns from a cat back into a rabbit
There are a lot of sequels that are thrust upon us that no-one ever remembers asking for, but in the case of Peter Rabbit, we're not sure anyone asked for the first film either - especially with James Corden as the 'star' voice. Although, there will no doubt be a lot of young kids happy to see Beatrix Potter's most famous creation again, so there's no real harm in that. If you remember, after the release of the first film, complaints were made regarding a scene where a gang of bunnies attack a man with blackberries fully aware he was allergic to them. 'Allergy bullying' was the term used as #boycottpeterrabbit spread on social media, forcing Sony to apologise. That didn't stop the film raking in over $350m at the box office worldwide which meant, of course, there had to be a sequel. And here it is. If you're a glutton for punishment, or have to endure it thanks to your kids, hit play to see the new trailer for Peter Rabbit 2.
In Peter Rabbit 2, the lovable rogue is back. Bea, Thomas, and the rabbits have created a makeshift family, but despite his best efforts, Peter can’t seem to shake his mischievous reputation. Adventuring out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his mischief is appreciated, but when his family risks everything to come looking for him, Peter must figure out what kind of bunny he wants to be.
Will Gluck is directing once again, with James Corden as Peter Rabbit, and the rest of the voice cast featuring Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie.
Peter Rabbit 2 hops into UK cinemas on March 27 and US theatres on April 3
