New Mulan trailer: Liu Yifei prepares to defend the honour of her family

Disney’s ‘live-action' remakes keep on coming with a new look at their remake of Mulan. While Aladdin wasn't well received by the critics, it has cleaned up at the box office, and The Lion King (which isn't exactly 'live') arrives in a couple weeks and looks set to be one of the biggest films of the year. This is not one of the prominent titles in the Disney animation catalogue and this version doesn’t stick rigidly to the original, changing some of the plot and removing most of the songs. So much so that the synopsis itself states it is 'based' on the 1998 film, rather than being a straight remake. Watch the new trailer for Mulan above.
