New First Man trailer: Ryan Gosling has his head in the stars

The second trailer for First Man was released earlier today ahead of the première of Damien Chazelle's new film at Venice. First reviews have not long appeared online and they appear to be mostly positive. It's the first film to concentrate on Neil Armstrong's life and just how insanely dangerous the journey would be from here to the moon. Watch the new trailer for First Man above to see more.

First Man, the story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, focuses on Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969. A visceral, first-person account, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost—on Armstrong and on the nation—of one of the most dangerous missions in history.

Damien Chazelle is back in the directors with with the supporting cast featuring Claire Foy, Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll, Jon Bernthal, Jason Clarke and Ethan Embry.

First Man flies into UK cinemas on October 12th 2018.
