New Bohemian Rhapsody trailer: Rami Malek will rock you

The first trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody dropped back in (Brian) May, giving us a first glimpse of the anticipated biography. The production for the film was pretty problematic, so Fox will be hoping it's plain sailing from here. It looks like standard biog fare judging by the trailer, but hopefully that's just down to the editing. With the release of the film getting ever closer, a new trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody has just been released and you can check it out above right now.

The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

Dexter Fletcher is directing, with Rami Malek taking on the role of Freddie Mercury, and the cast also featuring Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Allen Leech, Tom Hollander and Mike Myers.

Bohemian Rhapsody is released in UK cinemas on October 24th 2018.
