New Annabelle Comes Home trailer: Who let the doll out?
When The Conjuring appeared back in 2013, who would've thought 6 years later we would be talking about a universe featuring 9-10 films? Annabelle Comes Home is the third of this spin-off series, with a third Conjuring film to come next year, The Nun released in late 2018 (there will be a sequel), The Curse of La Llorona coming soon and The Crooked Man still to be announced. Warner Bros. have used the Blumhouse model to build this universe, with the five films that have hit cinemas so far racking up $1.57 billion at the box office from a combined production (not including marketing) total of £103.5 million. Pretty staggering figures by anyone's standards. If you're a fan of the films, then check out the new trailer for Annabelle Comes Home which dropped a short while ago.
Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.
Gary Dauberman makes his debut behind the camera after penning the first two Annabelle and IT films, with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga both popping back into the universe, and Mckenna Grace, Madison Iseman and Katie Sarife also starring.
Annabelle Comes Home hits UK cinemas on June 28th.
